FOTOCAM contest about Nature Photography of CAM carries out its seventeenth edition. And it does it, after having been consolidated as the second most important contest of photography of these characteristics on the world, only behind the prestigious Wildlife Photographer of the Year..

Some information of interest about FOTOCAM:

• In the 2010 edition, more than 1.894 photographers took part, from up to 36 countries, and more than 17.000 snapshots were sent.
• Those who already know the contest know that FOTOCAM tries to be a purist contest. Because of it, on the rules states, that retouched images will not be admitted.
• Receipt term of the photographies on this XVII edition finishes on September 15, 2011.
• FOTOCAM juror is composed by important personalities of the photography world, as Jose Benito Ruiz or the graphical publisher of National Geographic, Kathy Moran.
• This juror will value on every category, the images that stand out for their originality and quality, for technical and composition.
• ABSOLUTE FOTOCAM 2011 WINNER. It is chosen the best image of the winners of every category. The winner perceives a prize of 6.000 Euros, which includes the prize of category plus the absolute prize.
